As increasingly fierce society competition, companies give more and more attention to talent competition. Now, they not only pay costly for the external candidates, but also give more focus on the excavation of internal staff. Effectively using internal human resources could reduce the labor costs, in addition, also get a lots of advantages in the competition. Therefore, employees undertake the long-term pressure, given more responsibilities and higher requirements for the job, in this competitive market situation. If the pressure can not be alleviated timely, it will produce with a series of negative physiological and psychological phenomena, leading to the occurrence of negative behaviors, which is a typical phenomenon of burnout, such as slack, physical and mental fatigue, poor mood, bad interpersonal relationships and so on. Job burnout could led to a decline of employee's job satisfaction, eventually causing lower efficiency and productivity of the business.Empirical study will be used in this paper to research the burnout and job satisfaction of staff in commercial companies, which has important practical significance to ameliorate the work attitude, improve enthusiasm to the job and production efficiency. In this study, data obtained from questionnaires which used MBI-GS modified scale and Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire Short Form to measure the degree of job burnout and job satisfaction, as a sample of staff in commercial enterprises in Xi'an. By using the SPSS software, data are given factor analysis, variance analysis and correlation analysis. The research results are as follows:(1) In Xi'an, young staff's burnout is in the middle lower level, and they experience the medium or higher level of achievement. In a addition, they feel more satisfaction about the job itself, but don't satisfy with the pay and benefit from the work and interpersonal relationship.(2) Some population attribute variables (marriage, working ages)have a significant impact of burnout and job satisfaction part of the dimension, but other variables have little or even not impact to the two.(3) Emotional exhaustion, depersonalization have significant negative correlation to job satisfaction, while personal accomplishment has significant positive correlation to it. That means the more exhaustion and depersonalization one person has and lower personal accomplishment feeling, the lower satisfaction he has. This also shows that the more burnout he has, the less satisfaction he feels. In other words, only the burnout is decreased moderately, the employee satisfaction could be improved.(4) Emotional exhaustion has good prediction to the outer satisfaction, personal accomplishment has good prediction to the inner one, and to both of them, depersonalization all has good prediction .Fore more, the three could work together to predict overall job satisfaction degree. In order to decrease the burnout and increase satisfaction, not only need individuals to perform relaxation training, but also need organizations to carry out the"human-oriented"idea with practical action, not superficial work.
