With the acceleration of urbanization process, more and more land is needed for urban development. Land become an important and major factor in urban development, especially the construction land, its size and structure restrict the overall development of the city. Studying from spatio-temporal of construction land use changes, searching for the characteristics of the city′s own way of optimal allocation of land for construction, to improve the efficiency of construction land use. it is not only helpful to meet the demand for construction land during the urban development, but also to the guiding significance for protecting agriculture land and other land.In this paper, Yangling Demonstration Zone for the study of construction land, studing from the status, spatio-temporal changes of construction land in Yangling Demonstration Zone; finding problems and the law of construction land changes of Yangling, analyzing the driving forces factor in construction land changes, and finally through the Grey Prediction model, Linear Programming and other methods, with the use of quantitative and qualitative methods, ensure construction land resource optimization allocation.This article is divided into five parts:The first chapter is introduction, pointed out research background, purpose s, methods and significance of research, the research profiles in domestic and international area. Some possible ideas of innovation are included.Chapter two introduce the concepts of construction land spatio-temporal changes, optimization allocation, the basic theories inferred.Chapter three briefly introduce the Yangling Demonstration Zone of the natural, social and economic conditions, last analyze the three categories of land use status in Yangling.Chapter four is the temporal and spatial analysis of construction land in Yangling Demonstration Zone. First based on the status dates of construction land from 1997 to 2008, from the timing and space, with the method of quantitative, analyze the law of spatial and temporal changes, and secondly, to the socio-economic data, based on principal component analysis and regression analysis, analyze the driving forces causing the changes of construction land use, last find out the increment speed is too fast, the structure is not stable. Chapter five introduce the optimal allocation of construction land, first using Grey Prediction model, predict the number of optimized scale, and then with the method of qualitative, separately from the order of construction land use structure to spatial structure and so on, optimize construction land allocation, finally draw the optimization summary of results.
