The modern East Asia Tributary circles that as China been the center had taken place major changes after the Mei ji Restoration. That is because Japan tried to get rid of tribute trade and had carried out the Asian re-planning policy. The first steps Japan signed a treaty of reciprocity with China, and then threaten Korea open the door by military force "The Reconciliation Treaty between Japan and Korea" signed in 1876 is not only marked the beginning of the Korean semi-colonial, and also marked the formation of market relations between Korea and Japan. But before 1882, the Korean modern Foreign Trade was only with Japan and with China just remains a tribute trade and border trade. Japan has monopolized the Korean foreign trade and the intensive penetration in political and military fields giving a serious threat to the Qing government's suzerainty in Korea,, forced Qing Dynasty to change its foreign policy to strengthen political suzerain-vassal relations between China and Korea, and begin to persuade Korea carry out the trade with Western countries. Finally signed the "Chinese-Korean Trade Treaty of The Business People", which marked the formation of the modern trade relations between three countries in Northeast Asia. With the expansion of Modern Korean foreign trade, Korean had realized the importance of the tariff autonomy in modern trade relations. In order to obtain tariff autonomy to protect the development of domestic economic, Korea launched tariff agreement with Japan, but all ended in failure. So Korea did not obtain the tariff autonomy until the trade treaty signed between Korean and America in 1882. Because the lack of talent in modern Korean customs, Korea could not established customs independently and request Qing Dynasty which was the suzerain of Korea to help set the customs. So Korea had given the Qing government a good opportunity to control Korean Customs.Since then, after the establishment of the Korean Customs, Korea's foreign trade pattern had been changed. The trade between China- Korea-Japan began substantive changes just because China which depend on the political advantage in Korea and the control of Korean customs start an fierce trade competition with Japan on the market in Korea. Before the Sino-Japanese War, the products which China exported to the Korean market almost had been equal with Japanese goods. This situation caused Japanese businessmen and even political circles'panic. And with the maintenance of China's suzerainty, the political and diplomatic intervention in Korea actually accelerated the outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War.The expansion of the trade relations between China-Korea-Japan in modern times can be said a regional economy. This paper tries to get Korea as the center of this area and as the establishment of the Modern Korean customs for the line to analyze and compare the trade relationship between the three country which be divided into two parts by the establishment of Korean customs. And try to provide some economic interpretation for the change of political relationships in modern Northeast Asia.
