Consumption servers a very important function in people's daily life, it contacts closely with our producing and living. Thus, we should treat consumption correctly. On one side, consumption is positive. We should consume appropriately in some extent in order to satisfy our needs. On the other side, we should avoid consume immoderately in order to prevent Values of consumerism flooding.Values of consumerism is the main flood of the consuming society. Values of consumerism anounced that consumption and entertainment is the final aim of person and the value and meaning can only be manifested by consumption. Values of consumerism encouraged people to make high consumption, pursue fashionable consumption for it stands for a person's identity and the way of self-free proving. When it comes to make a consumption, the signal of the comsumption comes first, but not the real usage. All in all, Values of consumerism consume for consuming and desire, but not for human needs. It is an alianate view of consumption. Values of consumerism emphasized to occupy the consuming production, show off the consuming production and ideaology. The flooding of Values of consumerism is harmful for nature society and human. It ruins the relationship between person and nature, pollutes the enviroment, destroys the balance of nature and lacking of resource. What is more, it is unfair for human and the society, makes people lost their freedom, brings them spiritual vainity and makes people lost their direction.Having reflected the root of Values of consumerism, we can found that Values of consumerism is closely related with the foundation of capitalism. It is the necessary comeout of the logic of capital. And it is also related with the reinforecment and foundation of subejctivity which catabolizes the human nature, emphasizes on human desire, especially on the desire of material extent. It neglects the ability of nature and real pursuit of human. Another reason of Values of consumerism is that people misunderstood the significance of freedom. People treated the desire of consuming as manifesting freedom. In fact, this kind of freedom is fake, is a wrong way of understanding freedom. All of this reinforced Values of consumerism.Values of consumerism appears because people do not realzie the relationship between people and consumption. Human own two kinds of property including nature property and social property. Values of consumerism overly emphasizes the nature property and neglects human's spiritual pursuit. It attributes human's value of view to material view. Thus in order to come beyond Values of consumerism, we should build a reasonable notion of consuming, realized that occupation is not as same as success. People who has spiritual pursuit lives in the society, his/her contribution to the society can reveal the real value. Hedonism misunderstands the real pursuit of people. One does not need to take up too much sonsuming production. Thus we should build up a right world view and view of value, pursue the significance by making value and time. This article attempt to use succeding consuming ideaology instead of Values of consumerism. The former one asks us to consume appropriately, not only realize our normal needs, but also go against the exceeding comsumption in order to make the right relationship between human and nature, fair consumption, and self-freedom come true. Succeding consuming ideaology is a tough and long task which needs the help from country, society and individuals. The government has to propagandize the idea of succeding consuming ideaology; idividuals also have to realize the relationship between consumption and human living, build up a right consuming notion, avoid Values of consumerism. When people want to make a consumption, one should consider ont only his/her own ability, but also the affording ability of nature. Rational consuming is the way that human get their self freedom.
