| American training pattern for engineers and the German training pattern for engineers are the two typical training patterns for engineers in the world, which both play a very important role for a country in industry, science and technology. Anyway, the two countries experienced a long history of continuous development on engineering, gradually formed its own characteristics. Both trained a large number of high quality engineers for the world, and therefore wrote a very important chapter in human history. Now, with the integration of the world economy and globalization, most countries increasingly recognize the importance of engineers training for the future of mankind. To meet the requirements of the times and technology, most of the countries in the world are having in constant reform in training pattern for engineers. However, our engineers training in quality and quantity are relatively backward in compare with America and Germany. Therefore, we should learn from them and get some useful experience, which is very useful for the development of our training pattern in future and this paper is just about the exploration.The paper is divided into five parts. The first part proposes the background, the research significance, the way of thinking and the research method of the thesis, then analyzes search status, related concepts; The second part focuses the evolution and characteristics of American and German training pattern for engineers; The third part makes a comparative research between American and German training pattern for engineers in training objectives, training philosophy, training system, training content and training methods; The fourth part is to learn the experience of American and German training pattern for engineers combined with our history and present situation, then to give the suggestions for the development of engineering education in our country; The fifth part is to make conclusion of the paper. This paper is to learn experience from American and German training pattern for engineers by making comparative research between them and provide suggestions for improving our training pattern for engineers, which will provide solutions for developing our training pattern for engineers in order to promote stability and prosperity in our country. |
