Research On The Application Of Internet Financial Reporting Based On XBRL

As the rapid development of information technology especially network technology, more and more enterprises are concerned about Internet financial reporting, so the network financial reporting gradually replacing the paper-based financial reporting has become an irreversible trend. Because of the current network financial reporting's different content and format, the information needs will encounter many difficulties in querying, accessing, exchanging, analyzing financial information required. Under such circumstances, Although the financial information are comprehensive, timely, comparable, it can not meet the needs of information users. However, XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) which is developed on the basis of XML (Extensible Markup Language) make the network financial reporting become standard for its unique advantages. We can query, access, exchange financial information more convenient and fast. Currently, XBRL organizations and the global community have invested considerable resources to study XBRL, which makes the promotion of XBRL more fast.In this context, this paper researches the network financial reporting model based on XBRL. This paper is divided into six parts, each part as follows:The first part, introduction. The paper mainly introduces the research background, significance and purpose;Summarized the research situation at home and abroad,The second part, this paper first describes the origin of Internet Financial Reporting; Second, introduce its concepts and features. Then Point out that the network financial reporting model based on XBRL is the development trend of Internet Financial Reporting; Analysis of XBRL generation, concept and advantages;The third part, introduces the basic framework of XBRL. Discuss the technical basis and technology architecture of XBRL;The fourth part, analysis of the applications of XBRL in China, with an example of Suning Appliance. Then the writer proposed the improvements about the shortcomings in the application process. The fifth part, point out the problems existing in the process of China's promotion of network financial reporting model based on XBRL, and proposes countermeasures for these problems.The sixth part, conclusion. Point out shortcomings of this study, further research direction for the future.The application of XBRL will save a large number of cost including social information collection, and transmission.; Increase the transparency of information disclosure in China; Raise the level of our regulators and regulatory efficiency; Ensure all aspects of social transactions more equitable, fair and transparent; Enhance the integrity of the whole community level; improve China's international status and image. Therefore, we should actively develop the application of XBRL financial reports.
