Research On Environmental Supervision Of Economic Instruments In China's Power Industry

The power industry is the foundational pillar industry relate to national economy. Because the characteristics of china's energy structure, electricity generation primarily by coal, so the production process generated lots of pollution.The major economic instruments which implement in china's power industry are pollution fees system and trial emissions trading. But the two instruments have flaws and the insufficiency, had not achieved the expectations of society. In view of the problems exist in environmental regulation, I started the research.This paper contained three major parts work as follow:The first part is the first three chapters. In this part I summarized the current researches on this topic; Summarized the major economic environmental supervision method; outlined the present situation of environmental monitoring in power industry and analyze the problems exists in it.The second part is the main part of the paper, including the fourth and fifth chapter. In this part of the study, I thoroughly analyzed the weakening reasons in depth from macro and micro angle firstly. Then basing on this did the theoretically research analyze in depth and comparative analysis the main economic methods using in power industry environmental supervision.The third part is the conclusion. This part mainly give several policy suggestions for Strengthens the environment supervision. After the research I discovered that in order to improve the efficiency of environmental regulation, we should using economic means primarily, integrated utilize many kinds of other methods carry on the supervision of power industry; Speeding up the process of China's pollution taxes reform; The full implementation of emissions trading.
