Port is a connection knot in the world transportation system, port business can fully speed up the country's economy growth. The container port was build because of container is the major transport vehicle in the shipping.Aggressive competition between ports force the port company change present strategy,cost competition has been replaced by the service competition. Because of the unpredictable of reality, port jam always happens. Improve the collection and distribution efficiency is key to improve the service level in the port.So far the study of how to improve container port efficiency generally focus on loading and discharging efficiency and information manage skills in the pile field and gate traffic improvement. the harmony between pile field and road is been ignoring.In this paper view, harmony between pile field and road is important in the collection and distribution system of the container port. So this paper figure out the minimum container slot number through the handling capacity and confirm the size of pile field, next found the length formula of the road through some theory in the flow science, deduce the harmony formula between pile field and road in the port.The research of harmony between pile field and road in the port gives some remarkable advice in the proceeding of port programming and construction, also it can help the adjustment program in the port collect-distribute system. At the end of this paper Tianjin port is being used to testify the research achievement, through this analyze found the problem of the collect-distribute system in the Tianjin port, also paper provide some adjust proposal to improve the efficiency of the collect-distribute system.This paper provide some reliable advice in the port programming and guide the adjustment program of the collect-distribute system in the port.
