In recent years, with the popularization of modern network technology, and social information level increases, more and more information resources are applied to various fields. Such as audio, video, text, forms, etc., but they lack a unified description of information resources approach, the computer can not accurately understand the information has led to users is difficult to quickly find exactly the resources required. How accurate description of network resources in a unified message to make it easier to use, it has become a new challenge computer information resources management faces. Based on this background, the semantic Web has been mentioned, as in the semantic Web, the computer can "understand" the network of information resources, so its application has got the attention of scholars. And, the Semantic Web in e-commerce is an important research direction.Information querying is an important aspect of e-commerce application process, General query technology's results often can not meet the requirements of users, Even return "empty ". In this paper, preference query can be an effective solution to this problem, The main contents include:(1 )Introduction syntax.Semantics and standardized of the Semantic Web query language SPARQL, and the RDF data model and RDF data sets and so on.(2) Study the combination of SPARQL query and the preference. First, introduce the preference SQL query language, then introduce the preference SPARQL, put the preference into SPARQL query language.(3) Introduction the semantic similarity into preference SPARQL, propose extended preference SPARQL query language, and use the concept of color ontology as the example in detail.(4) Finally, this paper introduce the apparel e-commerce as an example, description with RDF relationship data table and RDF data set table, and query with Preference SQL and preference SPARQL.Through comparative analysis we get that the preference SQL query is for the Database table.yet the preference SPARQL query is for the RDF data set, both the two kinds of preference queries can solve the problem of "empty" result. The combination of theory and practice show that, the issue raised by preference SPARQL in e-commerce application is an advanced and feasible.
