The Research On Strategic Performance Evaluation Of Listed Pharmaceutical Companies

Since January 1, 2007, "Enterprise Accounting Standards," which issued by the Ministry of Finance was implemented fully in all of listed companies, the new guidelines change a lot in asset impairment and fair value,which causing the performance change and make the intrinsic value of the enterprise reflected more turely. In addition, the 2008 outbreak of the global financial crisis had an impact to the world economy,China is no exception. In this context, it is necessary to make a performance evaluation of the listed companies.As enterprises' competitive environment increasingly fierce, enterprises implementing strategic management has become an inevitable trend of management. While the traditional performance evaluation still focus on corporate financial performance and it can't assess appropriately of the status of enterprises. therefore, the strategic business performance evaluation emerged in this context. Built performance evaluation system based on strategic management can not only provide timely accurate decision support information and the implementation of effective control, but also encourage enterprises to focus on the key factor of technological innovation, intangible assets, human resourse and other corporate long-term competitive advantage. This is both in theory and practice of great significance. As one of the ten national industries in recent years, pharmaceutical industry has developed rapidly. In 2008, the overall market situation of listed companies is not good, but the pharmaceutical industry behaves well and make progress steadily. This article will make pharmaceutical companies as the object of the study.In this paper, it frist elaborated relevant performance evaluation studies at home and abroad, on this basis, it expounds in detail about the strategic performance evaluation's definition, characteristics and significances, combined with the reality of listed companies in China, we try to build a set of indicater system to meet the Listed company's strategy performance evaluation, and then use the scoring method of the Combination of principal component analysis and entropy to assess the strategy operating performance of pharmaceutical companies,the evaluation results validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the indicater system and the scoring method of evaluation. Through the analysis of the evaluation results, this paper provides a series of suggestions to the pharmaceutical industry. with all this,we hope our work can make certain reference value in theory and some practical guiding significance to help listed companies build long-term competitive advantage and fundamentally improve their competitiveness.
