The end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China was the transitional period for the salt industry in(?)ilinγool League.During this time,frequent changes occurred in salt production and management,representing an unique period.The changes in the salt industry reflected the economic and social status in Inner Mongolia during that time and the policy of the central government in Mongol Salt industry.Utilizing the literature housed in the State Library of Liao Ning province and other historical literature,this paper analyzes and discusses the changes in Mongol Salt industry.The paper comprises of three parts:introduction,main body and conclusion.The introduction includes background,research findings,research methods and related definitions.The main body includes four chapters.Chapter one "Salt Production in(?)ilinγool League" describes the origination and history of salt production in(?)ilinγool League.Chapter two "The Salt Industry at the end of Qing Dynasty" analyzes the influence of the "New Policy" in the management of(?)ilinγool League Salt industry.Chapter three "Salt Industry Reform at the end of Qing Dynasty and the Beginning of the Republic of China "discusses the changes in the Salt industry during each reform.Chapter four "Management of Salt production and Establishment of Salt Taxation",describes various policies applied to the salt production and management in(?)ilinγool League.The conclusion summarizes the paper and discusses the key findings of the study.
