A Study On Financial Management System Of Modern Logistics Enterprises

With the progress of science and technology and the development of productive forces, modern logistics industry was regarded as the third profit source. It developed rapidly as an emerging service sectors. As any other modern enterprises, financial management is an essential part of modern logistics enterprise management. The level of financial management will directly affect the operation and decision-making of an enterprise. At present, Chinese logistics enterprises expand rapidly in quantity and size. All circles of society pay more attention on investment, financing and other financial issues in the logistics enterprises. To seek their own survival and development, modern logistics enterprises requires more effective and practically reliable financial management system to guide it's fund raising and financial operation, to enhance their competitiveness, and to ensure its healthy development. However, the financial management in Chinese logistics enterprises can not adapt to the modern logistics industry, and can not meet the requirements of the boom development. Inadequate financial management system, lad of financial management adjustment during operation, improper and ineffective internal financial supervision system, low informatics skills for financial personnel and other phenomena are common in most Chinese logistics enterprises.In this paper, with advanced concepts and methods, combined with the characteristics and development trends of modern logistics enterprises, this paper explores the relationship between logistics and finance and provides a general framework of financial management system for logistics industry, which is in line with the world economic trends and could meet the requirements of the development of modern logistics enterprise. According to the order in which financial activities happen, the framework was built on a repeated modem logistics enterprises financial system which includes financial prediction, financial supervision and financial feedback. Under this framework, the paper also analyzed current status of financial management system in Chinese logistics enterprises and explored current problems and provides some suggestions for improvement.
