| The seed is the most basic and important agricultural capital goods, the significant carrier of the agricultural science and technology. Because of the particular physical geography and weather condition, hexi corridor has become one of the important seed base. At present the hexi area has formed the quite size of seed industry of corn vegetable and flower. Particularly the crossbreed corn seed, in 2008 the produce area has reached 80 thousand hm2 , the output is about 5 hundred million kg, which is the 50 percent of the total amount of corn seed in the countrywide, and the seed base of vegetable and flower is 10 thousand hm2, the output is 4000 thousand kg a year. Due to the development of the seed industry, where are some obverse economic effect for the hexi area. The main purpose of the paper is studying the regional economic effect of the hexi seed industry.The paper consists of five parts.The introduction part, summary of the whole paper, puts forward the purpose and explains the development status of the seed industry in the world. The second chapter attempts to discuss the actuality and existent problem of the hexi seed industry. The third chapter is the most important part, in the first place,it carries on the explaining the conception of regional economic effect and analysis on the types of regional economic effects, and then analysis the wrought condition of the regional economic effects in hexi seed industry. finally it analyzes the right regional economic effects, which include five aspects: promoting Hexi's country economy and farmer's revenue; upgrading competition predominance; industry relevancy effect and investment effect. Chapter four discussed the negative effect of hexi seed industry. Every thing has two sides, because of the base of seed expanding too fast, the seed corporations have malignant competition; and the agriculture configuration tend to be in common, the circumstance is polluting. Aim at the problem above-mentioned, chapter five mainly institute the countermeasure for improving the regional economic effect in hexi, which put forward the subsequent countermeasure: strengthening the base's management and actualizing canonical management; the seed industry is concerned with market competition actively, and developed the intergration of breeding ,propagation and distribution; the seed industry should increase scientific research and quicken cho osing breed of independent intellectual property rights, to advance the seed industry's science and technology innovation; The seed industry should strengthen the cooperation with other area, breed the Leading enterprises, enhance the capacity of radiation; in order to ensure the seed quality and scientific and technological content, we should strengthen the brand awareness of the seed and actualize the brand strategy; finally government should set up a reasonable Organization mechanism, and strengthen the administration of Village, guide the seed farmers and seed industry form interests of the Community. |
