Research On Industry Regional Transference And Absorption: Theory And Empirical Analysis

In recent years, the advantages of the factors of production in the east, middle and west regions of China are profoundly changed. The advantageous factor of making labor-intensive production is pointing from the east region to the middle west while the relative industries still remain in the east, which leads our country's industry structures and the distribution of advantageous factors are seriously misplaced. That takes great responsibility for the low efficiency of economical operation and holds back the economic development. Hence it has a significant theoretical and practical meaning to improve the transference of the east industry to the west and to rationally identify our country's industry regional transference and absorption by working over its control model and empirical analyzing Zhejiang textile industry regional transference and absorption.This treatise first regularizes the relative theories of industry regional transference at home and abroad, and makes a systematic summarizes on it. Second, the treatise starts with the neoclassical model of industry regional transference, and combines industry absorption, and analyses the features of technology and technology transference in industry regional transference and absorption. There we figure out the key factors in industry regional transference and absorption, such as technology and technology transformation, resource, human resource and capital factor. Then, we discuss the total utilities in different degrees of technology transference, on the basis of it, finally build up a control model of industry regional transference and absorption and derive out the boundary of it. Third, after the analysis of the development of textile industry in Zhejiang Province as well as its restraining factors and economic development and comparative advantages of Middle West, we choose both six provinces in the middle and west China from 2001 to 2006 as samples of the textile industry regional transference in Zhejiang. And we regression analyze the problems of the textile industry regional transference and absorption according to the control model of it. The result of Regression Analysis brings out that textile industry regional transference and absorption between Zhejiang province and five regions is feasible, which is Xinjiang, Anhui, Henan, Jiangxi and Hunan. Then after the fully survey of the industry regional transference and absorption of the textile industry in Zhejiang and Middle West, we have proved the rationality of the control model we've built, combined with how it matches the results of the control model with the textile industry regional transference and absorption in Zhejiang. The comparative analysis indicates that the results of the control model tallies with reality in the main. In the end, we summarize the basic conclusion of this treatise, and gave advices on how to make an intensive study of the theory of the industry regional transference and absorption.
