From the latter half of 1980s to now, the fast development of IT and the miniaturization of computer brought computer into enterprise management widely, the application of these information technologies has great effects on improving enterprise's competitive ability. As the unremitting improvement of consumer's demands for merchandise, acceleration of updating the production, how to respond the market quickly, organize manufactur efficaciously and constitute the production planning is the prevalent foci by manufacturing and it also becomes the key point of obtain victory in the international competition.In this paper, after studying production planning model for batch manufacturing, analysing product character and the exist problem of batch manufucting, a layered enterprise planning system suitable for batch enterprise has been proposed. The project proposed in this article can be divided into two layers: plan layer and batch scheduling layer.Manufacturing resource planning (MRPII) has obvious advantages in planning, calculating quantities of raw materials and components, so MRPII is used for scheduleding plan layer. Batch scheduling layer. The thesis uses batch scheduling algorithm to plan workshop scheduling. The system can deal with information qucikly, implement track and update manufacture imformation in production, confirm produce batch and sequence of each period production reasonably, and reduce the total cost of production and shorten the overall production time.A monolithic model of lot-sizing and scheduling problem with quality loss based on batch production has been proposed in this paper. The genetic algorithm has been used to optimize each stage respectively. Considering the hierarchical concept, the new heuristic algorithm starts from the scheduling sub-problem,and transfers its optimal result to the lot-sizing problem as constrains, then feed back the optimized result of lot-sizing to the scheduling sub-problem to find a better scheduling. The optimization of different stages repeats until getting an ideal result. The thesis validates feasibility of the algorithm by computational example. This model considers that there must be quality loss in production, it also analyses the effect of machine load to batch size which made the research have more factual significance. The algorithm has been used in production schedule sub-system of Baicheng Zhongyi Co.td successfully. This system has run for nearly two years and it is scheduling for enterprise's production reasonably. The algorithm reduces the cost of product, raises the productivity, which brings huge economic benefits for the enterprise.
