With the development of financial market, especially the share-separate reform has been ended. The financing target of listed companies in China would have a fundamental change, the value maximization has become key attention. Full circulation announced the approach of Market Value Management (MVM) times. Indeed, with the MVM concept has become an increasingly important staple topic of conversation, it has been recognized as the new trend in management of the listed companies. Therefore, the research on MVM of the listed companies has important theoretical and actual value.Ground on the Market Value Management ( MVM ) and Value Based Management (VBM) basic theories, using comparative analysis, the author gives insight into the differences and connections between them both at home and abroad, It concludes that both VBM and MVM are in pursuit of a same target, that is the maximization of shareholder value. Besides placing more emphasis on the creation of value, MVM strongly emphasizes value realization and value management. MVM is based on VBM, and is an extension of it. This paper combines the theoretical analysis with the empirical studies; make an intensive study of China listed companies MVM Premium. Using MVM assessment system and methods, proposes six modes of market premium and presents MVM strategies according to the different market cycle.
