A Research Of Labor Mobility And Industry Transfer In East China

With the rising price of the resources included labor cost, water power, electrical power and so on, the advantage of coastal region in east China have gone. For the cheap labor power once helped the development of labor concentrated industry in this area, with this advantage fade away, the developing of labor concentrated industry in the coastal region in east China has become harder and harder. To solve the problem, the industry has begun to transfer to central and west regions in China. The provinces in central and west regions have woken up to this situation that they worked out a lot of preferential policies to attract the interrelated enterprises. In this process, the industrial structure in different provinces in central and west regions has become similar. Considered the different environment and resources in different provinces, this convergence is unfavorable for the development of central and west regions in China. For it may lead to building redundant project and wasting the resource. So it is very important for the government of central and west regions to find the contact point of taking on the industries just right.Because labor is the very important element that caused the industrial transfer, the writer try to discuss the relationship between labor mobility and industrial transfer, to find out that if we can find the contact point. The writer put forward a method that we can take the labor mobility as a kind of signal of industrial transfer, which means we can find the contact point by observing the situation of labor mobility. It is a new way that no one has raised before, which is the original idea of this paper.This thesis comprises 4 chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the background and meaning of this research. But for the economic crisis recently, compared with the situation half a year before the economic situation has changed sharply. So the writer also makes an explanation that why this research is still meaningful in chapter 1. Chapter 2 summarizes the interrelated documents of labor mobility and industrial transfer, analyzes the current situation of these research, then put forward my opinion. Chapter 3 is the most important part of this thesis. This chapter analyzes elaborately the reciprocity mechanism between labor mobility and industrial transfer, collects the interrelated data, then calculates the industrial grads coefficients of different areas, to discuss the feasibility that take the labor mobility as a kind of signal of industrial transfer. Chapter 4 is a summary of this thesis. It also gives some policy and suggestion.
