Discussion Of Fund Transfer Pricing In Hua Xia Bank

The internal FTP(funds transfer pricing),as one of Asset/Liability management cores about commercial banks,is an important lever in adjusting the internal fund flow quantity and direction,and the important means and manner in improving management level of commercial banks,which has infinite effect of the commercial banks in resource allocation, operating cost and management benefit.Chinese commercial bank already knows the importance arriving at FTP.Some Chinese commercial bank are chasing how to put the FTP into effect.Present study of the internal FTP about commercial banks in China is in elementary stage,which has not formed a scientific and rigorous pricing frame about the internal FTP in theory and an effective and exercisable internal FTP system in practice.This thesis consists of five sections.The first section is the base theory of the internal FTP,including the concept of FTP,the usage of FTP in the management of commercial bank,the procedure of FTP,the principle of its management.The second section describe the system of FTP,including the basis of the pricing,the three pattern of FTP:single pool,multi pool and term matched FTP,the organization pattern of FTP. The third section analysis the current situation of FTP in Hua Xia Bank. The fourth section bring forward viewpoint in improving the FTP of Hug Xia Bank.The fifth section gives a analysis on the usage of Term Matched FTP in Hua Xia Bank.This thesis gives a primary research of the mechanism and model of the internal FTP in Hua Xia Bank,and hopes to establish the theory frame and pricing model of it,which can provide the preference to manage and allocate the internal funds about commercial banks in China.Based on commercial banks management,financial management,product(finance product) pricing theory and soon,the present study post the meaning of the internal FTP about commercial bank,this thesis lucubrated the forming, conducting and transferring mechanisms of the internal FTP about commercial banks.Putting FTP into effect is a long term process.It is hoped that the research is a meritorious theme on improving the management of interest risk,improving the efficiency of fund allocations and asset/liability management in Chinese commercial bank.
