The Relevance Between The Utilization Of FDI And The Optimization Of Export Structure Of Chinese Manufacturing

Along with the new technological revolution and economic globalization, the utilization of foreign capital in Chinese manufacturing has undergone major changes and rapid development. Meantime, manufacturing, which lies in the central position of industry, also contributed to China's industrialization process. However, under the global financial crisis of 2008, the sharp drop in demand of foreign markets results in unprecedented impact of Chinese manufacturing, especially export-led manufacturing companies. Also, the outbreak of the financial crisis and the sub-loan crisis will certainly lead to a comprehensive re-adjust of the future pattern of world economic development. Thus whether Chinese manufacturing can win in a more intense competition with the help of foreign capital has become a vital problem.The article illustrates the background and significance of the topic in the first chapter, that is, under the impact of the global financial crisis and the great progress of Chinese manufacturing, how to accelerate the pace of development of Chinese manufacturing to win in the new round of international competition when it is suffering a downturn in the international economic environment. Then, the author discusses the significance of this article theoretically and practically. After carding the international and domestic related theories preliminarily, the author introduces a brief study of the contents, innovation and structural arrangements of this paper. Chapter II deals with the characteristics of the use of foreign capital and the optimization of export structure of Chinese manufacturing in four aspects. First, Chinese manufacturing undertakes great development; second, foreign capital plays an important role in the re-configuration of labor and resources; third, the utilization of foreign capital promotes the development of manufacturing technology; fourth, the problems appeared in the utilization of foreign capital in Chinese manufacturing. Then through the introduction of test model and data description of the relevance between the utilization of foreign capital and export structure of Chinese manufacturing in Chapter, the author analyzes selected variables and introduces data sources, and then analyzes the relevant data using certain software. The results show that there does exist complementary long-term relationships between foreign direct investment and the optimization of export structure of Chinese manufacturing, and the inflows of FDI have played a very clear role in promoting the optimization of export structure of Chinese manufacturing. Based on the earlier chapters of analysis and exposition, the fourth chapter introduces the measures and methods which we should take to improve the overall competitive strength of Chinese manufacturing in order to promote rapid development of our country's economy in the following four aspects which include the improvement of investment environment, the development of the overall technology and competitive strength, the optimization of the utilization of foreign capital and keeping away the potential risk from multinational corporations.
