| After more than ten years, China's securities market has been set up initially. With the development of capital market, different stakeholders have paid more and more attention to the listed company performance. In recent years, many Chinese scholars have made in-depth research on the financial performance evaluation of listed companies which involves real estate industry, electronics industry, coal industry and so on. But the financial performance evaluation of hi-tech listed companies has not been paid enough attention, which is not only failed to match up to the rapid development of hi-tech listed companies but also disadvantageous to the catch-up strategy of science and technology in China. So, this needs strengthen to study on the financial performance evaluation of hi-tech listed companies.Firstly, the dissertation analyzes the background and significance of the study, and summarizes the domestic and foreign relevant literature on financial performance evaluation. Then, it combs the evolution law of the financial performance evaluation system and constructs a financial performance evaluation index system of hi-tech listed companies according to the characteristics of hi-tech listed companies. On this basis, the dissertation empirically analyses the financial performance of Chinese hi-tech listed companies in 2007 using factor analysis. Finally, Countermeasures and suggestions on improving the financial performance of hi-tech listed companies are proposed.To sum up this dissertation, the main innovation and contribution of the dissertation are as follows: The first is this dissertation constructs a financial performance evaluation index system of hi-tech listed companies according to the characteristics of hi-tech listed companies. Secondly, using factor analysis, the dissertation empirically analyses the financial performance of Chinese hi-tech listed companies in stock markets of Shanghai and Shenzhen in 2007 and discusses the empirical results. |
