Analysis On Comparison Superiority And Technology Efficiency Of Meat Products In The Northeast Of China

In resent five years,the China's government has decreed five "first paper"(include 2008),whatever the other points of them,the mine point is increasing employment and income of rural people.The most important task of socialism new rural reconstruction is to develop the rural economy and to increases the farmer employment and the income.Modern animal husbandry,which is easy to enter,and rich feed resources in the northeast of China become the first choice of new rural reconstruction in northeast China.From the 1990s,the northeast area has obtained the considerable development.In 1990,the proportion of the animal husbandry output value accounted for 24.56%of the total agricultural output value,which is lower than the national average level of 1.94%;inl995,the proportion of the northeast China animal husbandry output value accounted for 32.5%of the agricultural output value,which is higher then the national average level of 5.6%.In2005,the proportion of the northeast China animal husbandry output value accounted for 40.22%of the agricultural output value which makes Northeast area animal husbandry become Agricultural production prop industry and an indispensable part in the agricultural production.Although the Northeast area has made certain progress in the animal husbandry production aspect,the majority is the traditional animal husbandry.In this way,the pigs and poultries are dispersed rising.The source of economic growth is the growth of productive elements' inputs.It is far from modern animal husbandry which is specialization and Formalization.Because of the scarce of resources,the unabated growth of meat products of the Northeast area depends on the productivity unceasing enhancement instead of the factor inputs infinite extension.Therefore,there has vital practical significance to realize the fast and sustainable development of meats production in Northeast area on reaching meat products comparative advantage and productivity question in Northeast area.This paper is mainly based on comparative advantage theory and technical efficiency theory.First,it describes the production capacity,production resources and input-output profit of meat products in northeast China,and then analyzes the change of the main input-output factors.Second,it calculates meat products comparative advantage in Northeast area through the method with comprehensive comparative advantage and find the advantaged meat products.Finally,it adopts index method with HMB tested and calculated the advantaged meat products(takes beef for example) and the data of the sample counties from 1999to2005。By analyzing the production efficiency of beef in northeast China,the author think the growth of production efficiency of beef depends on technical progress and technical efficiency.The following is the primary content and conclusions of this paper:In the first part,it includes the background and meaning of this paper,Literature Review and introduces the research content,theoretical principle and research approach.In the second part,it describes the general change of the main input-output variables by analyzing and summarizing the development of meat products in northeast China after calculating the cost benefit of agricultural products.In the third part,the author analyzes comparative advantage of the main meat products in northeast China with comprehensive comparative advantage(takes pork,beef,mutton and poultry for example) and lists the place of advantage index in the whole country.The result is that the production of meat products in northeast China is vary important for our country and the northeast China is suitable for producing meat products.In the forth part,the author calculates and analyzes the facts production efficiency of advantaged meat products in northeast China by HMB index method.From the result,the production efficiency of beef in northeast China appears slow development and volatility from 2000 to 2005.The development of production efficiency of beef mainly depends on technical progress and technical efficiency.There has little influence on the development of TFP by the effect of input and output.There has side effect on the development of TFP by the scale effect.In the forth part,the author gives the conclusions and suggestions.
