Advertising is a mirror of one country's economic development, so the characters of advertising have great relations of the level of economics. China has entered into the fast track of economic century which material products are enriched, in order that the consumers have more opportunity to choose products to fulfill their needs. And in advertising industry which has maximized the economic benefits have appeared more specialized marketing promotions. All of these have proved that specialized communication is coming.In order to conform to the trend of the specialized communication, the traditional Media have developed into the direction of specialization, and online advertising basing on the unlimited resources attain the best communication affect. "Narrow ad" is a new representative of online advertising. It is the latest to disseminate and has the position of specialized communication.My theory includes four parts. The first one refers to the audience fragmentation and the media specialized development, which can tell us the reason of narrow ad present and the trend of its development. In second part, I will give a definition to narrow ad, and then introduce its advantages and working process. In third part, I focus on the problem of narrow ad, so as to put good foundation to the last and most important part. At last, I give my suggestion to its shortage with hope to improve its fast development.
