Network management product is one of the most lucrative types in leading vendors'Mobile communication product lines. These products contributed a lot to protect the vendors'profitablity, compensating the hardware profit margin continuous decreasing, and consolidate the brand image and improve the service quality, enhance competitiveness. ZTE's mobile communication business developed rapidly in recent years, but the network management products haven't obtain full acknowledgement in the market. Since the competition among operators increasingly focused on the network management efficiency, the network management products is becoming a key factor in the viability of vendors.In this thesis, we analysed ZTE mobile network management product, located the sources of troubles, and inter-relations between troubles and tried to explore the solution method.The theories we used in this study are the strategic management, operations management and technical innovation methods. First we used the the strategic management theory to analyse the product industry..Then we used marketing management theory to analyse the business model, and used technology innovation and operations management theory to analyse its R&D model, and finally analysed the HR structure and performance assessment model in according to human resources management theory.The root cause of problem is that the strategic position of this product was ambiguous, and leads to the problems in business model, the R&D mode and irrational model and enen the service, organizational structure and design defects. So that ZTE found it is difficult to deal with personalized operator requirement, hard to maintain the technological innovation ability.After we ditinguish the key factor of problems, we propose to confirm the Network management product core products position, and then launch the adjustment in product business process, team organization structure, R&D mode, service management processes.
