Economic Evaluation Of High Speed Container Ro-Ro Ship In The Coastal Shipping

With the enormous development of our costal container shipping, it has become a new increasing spark of the shipping companies recently. However, the low speed and efficiency of traditional container shipping mode restrict its development. High speed ro-ro container ship is the very solution to the contravention. To the world, the research of this new ship is on her elementary stage and blank to our country. On the basis of thoroughly relevant research and the characteristic of our costal shipping, this paper selects ship evaluation indexes and using the method of fuzzy synthesis judgment to get the economic ship type.There are 5 parts in the paper: firstly, the paper introduces the background and meaning of this research, plus the summary of relevant study. Then analyze the history, main lines, ports and the structure of ships constitute. Following are the introductions of high speed ro-ro container ships' definition, strongpoint and develop status. In the forth part, the paper lists the candidate type and using fuzzy synthesis judgment to get the prefer type. In addition, analyzes the ship sensitivity to fright, oil and speed. The last part points the main harvest and shortage of the paper and offers the further research direction.
