Abstract/Summary:
On the Feb. 15th</sup>, 2006, the treasury department issued new accounting principle, which included many great changes in some important aspects, and one of the most change points is the fair value accounting method.It is to select 42 listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchange in this paper. Base on annual and interim report date of the 42 listed companies from 2006 to 2008, this paper analyses on the effect that the dedicative ratio of the fair value to the profit. It results indicate that the fair value method has limited effect on the profit of the listed companies in China, the dedicative ratio of the most companies is from -3% to 3% except security companies and insurance companies.Based on the current application of the Fair value method, this paper put forward the application of fair value used stage theory, and in the direction of the theory, the paper is looking into some fair value measurement method; and exploring rules and regulations in some areas such as accounting, auditing, corporate governance, law, securities regulation.
