Study On Logistics Service Pricing Based On Quality

Logistics services pricing and logistics service quality are the two main influencing factors when the demand side of logistics services choose the provider. This paper attempts to analyze the relationship between the quality and price of logistics services according to traditional price theory. Logistics service quality will be the introduction of pricing model as a variable, and then amending traditional price theory. The paper will set up a practical service pricing model applied to third-party logistics.Before the establishment of the pricing model, this paper analyzes the third-party logistics market demand and supply situation based on theory of market segmentation in the Western economics. By researching on the classification of logistics enterprises in the third-party logistics market supply, the paper finds that the pricing model can be applied to the logistics company type: International Logistics Company and Domestic Comprehensive large-scale third-party logistics companies.The paper achieves that logistics service quality is the introduction of pricing model as a variable and build a pricing model to profit maximization as the goal successfully. At the same time a logistics company is set up and virtual data are listed in three groups reasonably. Solving the pricing model after putting the data into the pricing model and then compared to the analysis of solving results. The fact that the pricing model has the interoperability and Guiding is proved.
