Selection And Evaluation Of Plants In Leisure Agriculture Gardens In Zhengzhou City

The progress of leisure agriculture in China was later than other developed countries, consequently, the construction of leisure agriculture is not as standardized as theirs. Some have lost the agricultural characteristics, as a result, they are the same as the ordinary parks in cities, and some are constructed on the base of fruit gardens or greenhouses. Generally, most of them are lack of various activities and scenes, and can not represent the local culture. The thesis summarizes the research progress of domestic and foreign leisure agriculture, sums up the functions of the plants in leisure agriculture, and illustrates the applications of plants. Through the research about interrelated theories such as landscape ecology, landscape aesthetics, sustainable development, tourism psychology, experience economy and tourist culture, the thesis summarizes four principles to plants choice in leisure agriculture, such as native, ornamental, experience and culture principles. It also summarizes the orientation evaluation about the types of the using of plants which the Zhengzhou public gave, based on the investigation combining questionnaire and interrelated pictures, the survey about Zhengzhou and talking to Zhengzhou public. The survey results show that:(1) Zhengzhou public's preference for the landscape that combine fruit trees and the elements of landscape(Rocks, water, construction, plant), and they think that the types of cultivation about fruit trees are single in leisure agricultural gardens in Zhengzhou and the landscapes are lack of diversity; Zhengzhou public's orientation to the types of cultivation about vegetables which lines by descending order are: combination with the elements of landscape, art models, large-scale planting, mode patterns, scientific and technological cultivation, pot; the orientation to the types of crops which lines by descending order are: medicinal crops, food crops, oil crops, hemp crops, fodder crops .(2) Zhengzhou public express that they are willing to try to experience activities provided by plants, their orientation to the types of experience activities provided by fruit trees which lines by descending order are: picking, bonsai, calligraphy and painting on fruit, photography and painting, food processing, processing works of art; their orientation to the types of experience activities provided by vegetables on descending order are: food production, handicraft production, farming, harvesting; the orientation to crops are: weaving, art production, printing and dyeing, harvesting, food production, farming; It is widely believe that animal is an important component in leisure agriculture gardens, and the public would like to see free-range animals.(3) Zhengzhou public has shown great interest in the culture of plants, and they consider that the excavation of the plant culture to some extent can reflect the quality of the gardens. Their orientation to the culture plants are: moral culture, legends of culture, poetry culture and religious culture, Their orientation to the showing types of culture of plant are: to adopt plants, organized festivals, guided tours'explanations, Chinese characters on board -stone-stone and sculpture.Finally, take Fengle leisure agriculture as an example, based on Zhengzhou publics'orientation and the available resources, the thesis explores the selection and the deep utilization of plants though adding Zhengzhou's folk art and cultural heritage.This article's innovative is summarized. On the basis of the local plants, the thesis conducts a detailed classification to the ornamental, experience and culture of the plants in leisure agriculture gardens, and investigates the orientation of plant types in different groups. It will play a guiding role in enriching landscape and activities and reflecting the culture of the garden and it also will have a definite significance for leisure agriculture gardens in other areas in the utilization of plants and the development direction.
