In recent years,with the acceleration of global economic integration,more multinational corporations began to enter China.In order to make better performance,These multinational corporations began to use their own advantages to implement and applicate ERP in their chinese subsidiaries.However,in the implementation process characteristics of multinational corporations theirselves make the implementation process be faced with many difficulties so as to impact the ERP implementation success rate.One of the major reasons is the lack of internal knowledge transfer in the ERP implementation process.And so these multinational corporations can not play the knowledge advantage.Based on this phenomenon,this paper makes an exploratory study on the application of internal knowledge in ERP implementation process of multinational corporations.The purpose of this paper is to summarize the predicament which multinational corporations encounter in ERP implementation process through study on internal knowledge transfer in ERP implementation process of multinational corporations.This paper combines the related theory about the internal knowledge transfer,ERP and ERP implementation characteristics of multinational corporations and detailely study the main contents of internal knowledge transfer in ERP implementation process of multinational corporations.And this paper proposes a set of practical and effective solutions to overcome these difficulties and to improve the success rate of ERP implementation,achieve the ultimate purpose of enhancing the competitiveness of the enterprises.This paper consists of five chapters:Chapter 1 is an introduction that includes the research background,research purposes,research methods and some innovations.Chapter 2 is the related theory about ERP and internal knowledge transfer.And this chapter points out the contributions and shortages and formes a direction for the following chapters through the relevant literature review at home and abroad.Chapter 3 is the analysis of internal knowledge transfer in the ERP implementation process of multinational corporations.It includs the characteristics and the predicament which multinational corporations encounter in ERP implementation process.Besides,this paper also states the need for internal knowledge transfer and how to proceed internal knowledge transfer between the parent and subsidiary companies.Chapter4 is the solutions and the models that internal knowledge transfer overcomes the predicament faced by transnational corporations in the process of ERP implementation.This chapter aiso puts forward a set of practical and effective solutions according to the predicament which multinational corporations encounter in ERP implementation process.These solutions includ the mechanism model of promoting internal knowledge transfer and the staged model of internal knowledge transfer.And this chapter analyzes and applies internal knowledge transfer to achive the purpose of overcoming the predicament which multinational corporations encounter in ERP implementation process through the effect of six mechanisms.Chapter5 is a case study.It summarizes the predicament faced by R corporation and puts forward some Concrete measures and strategies for this corporation.Chapter 6 is about the conclusions and prospects of this study as well as its shortages.
