In ancient China resplendent civilization was created, and the simple mode of thinking for recycling economy already existed in traditional agriculture. But for a long time the agricultural development presented linear features of "excessive exploitation, poor efficiency, high exhaust", and made the resource and environment more vulnerable. To change development perspective, devote to recycling agriculture, is the necessary for agricultural development. In 1990s, theoretical researches and practices of recycling agriculture were launched in developed countries and few developing countries, and formed some new development modes of recycling agriculture. Restricted by levels of industrialization and technology conditions, domestic recycling agriculture developed later, whereas many unique, pragmatic and environment-concerned development modes of recycling agriculture which deserved summary and popularization were explored in regions.This dissertation exerts dialectics with all-rounded analysis, such as relating theory and practice, combination of qualitative and quantitative, unification of abstract and concrete and macro-micro link etc, synthesizes multi-disciplinary knowledge including recycling and ecological economy theories, on the basis of theoretical analysis about resource constraint, agriculture sustainable development, recycling economy and development modes of recycling agriculture etc, borrows oversea mature recycling and ecological economy theories, explores theoretical frames of domestic ones, evaluates current domestic agricultural situation, makes planning and design for development modes of recycling agriculture, and makes corresponding suggestions.
