With the transformation of economy and the opening of rural market, loose supply and marketing cooperative declined gradually in the supply of means of labor and means of livelihood in the market competition. The rural supermarket arises at the historic moment, it is the necessity of the customer-oriented economy and the great development of the circulation. Because of its own unique advantages and the current economic situation, it is destined to become the next major force in rural market.This article takes rural supermarket this new format as the research object, using the SWOT analytic method, the environment for the development of the rural supermarket was analyzed. From the strength factor, the weakness factor two aspects analyzed the internal environment of the rural supermarket, from the opportunity factor, the threat factor the external environment of the rural supermarket was discussed. In order to grasp its development condition to supply a theoretical foundation for the following research.Again taking the traditional store, the wholesale department and the rural supermarket these three kind of countryside main merchandising business as the objects sof study, taking the commodity performance-to-price ratio, the shopping environment and the grade of service as the evaluation index, the contrast degree of customer satisfaction was analyzed among three kinds of the shopping. The results show that: the rural supermarket goods cost effectively compared with other two formats, not have obvious advantage, "prices are not inexpensive with high quality"; customer satisfaction with the internal environment of the supermarket, the external environment still remaining great transformation space, compared with other industry condition, the rural supermarket also can occupy the superiority; in the quality of service, the sale of services and after-sales service quality is satisfactory, pre-sales needs to strengthen.Then summarized the current problems in the rural supermarket of Wangcheng County. Finally, some development countermeasures to further the development of the rural supermarket were put forward.
