Lean production is one of advanced production management theory. Its key point is removing waste, eliminating all of the non-value added working and process, pursuing the ultimate perfection to enhance the ability of catering the market demand and to gain more profit.The thesis is based on actual practice in S company which is a large-scale mobile manufacture factory, to be analyzed and improved to production management with lean production theory.The thesis is divided into 3 parts. Firstly, according to the research of material path, it proposes method to improve the material flow and eliminate the waiting waste due to path cross. At the same time method to improve the packing method of raw material and increasing output in kitting area without adding kitting area. Secondly, with the analysis of current productivity, the thesis presents method to improve line balance and increase line output without adding new area and manpower, and set up standard time with MODPATS theory to eliminate the difference and make new project of action pool as reference. Multi-skilled operator is trained which can operate on multi-station or multi-project to improve skill. Thirdly, the overall equipment effectiveness is improved according to current analysis, inducing multi-line. Mobile project output is increased without adding production line. |
