Research On International Competitiveness Of The Chinese Medicine Industry

The international competitiveness of a country directly decides its position in the world economy. However, different nations'competitive power is actually determined by their various industries'competitiveness. There is a tremendously growth development in the Hi-Tech industry in the world. Medicine industry is one of the most critical industries among 8 Hi-Techs.There are also many kinds of researches on Hi-tech and Hi-tech international competitiveness. However, the resrarches on a detailed Hi-tech industry are rare. So the paper tries to analysis on a new angle.The paper aims to explore ways to enhance the international competitiveness of Chinese medicine industry. It analyzes the international competitiveness condition by theory model. The outcome is the international competitiveness of Chinese medicine industry increases gradually. But there is still big gap compared with the developed countries in the world. Based on the background of the reality and theory, the dissertation discusses the international competitiveness degree, using a famous principle analyze factor model. It shows that Chinese medicine industry's international competitiveness in very low. And then it analyzed the competitiveness of Chinese medicine industry in the international position by statistic method. In this process, we can easily find the gap and the problems of Chinese medicine industry's competitiveness, comparing with the developed countries.Finally, the paper proposes several policies on how to strength the international competitiveness of Chinese medicine industry.
