Research On The Relationship Of Technology Capability, Innovation Strategy And Innovation Performance

Under the environment of more and more intense competition and changing customer's need, technology innovation is the key point for enterprise exist and development. The factors influencing technology innovation includes Technology Capability, Innovation Strategy, Innovation Management as well as Technology Alliance among different enterprises.In this paper, we study the relevant inside and outside academic research firstly. Then, the oretical hypotheses about Technology Capability, Innovation Strategy, Innovation Performance will be formed and the questionnaire will be designed by the method of five-point Likert Scale. In order to validate the theoretical hypotheses proposed above, we gather data via nearly 200 enterprises'questionnaire. Statistics software such as SPSS and AMOS are used to analyze the data. Establish a Structural Equation Model(SEM) which consists of Technology Capability, Innovation Strategy and Innovation Performance. Hypotheses are proved through the relationship among three factors.The conclusion shows that: Technology Capability has a significant effect on the selection of Innovation Strategy; given a certain Technology Capability, the selection of Innovation Strategy has a significant positive effect on Innovation Performance; Innovation Performance retroact on Innovation Strategy. Furthermore, Technology Capability will be measured by Surveillance Capability, Assimilate Capability, Introduction Capability and Innovation Capability. Providing the same Innovation Strategy, They have a significant correlativity with Innovation Performance.As dependent variable, Innovation Performance is taken into consideration. At the same time, we also take Innovation Performance's retroaction into consideration. Few studies put attention on backward effect. While we classify Innovation Strategy into four types by the timing of market entry and the cooperative extent of innovation system instead of the simply Independent Innovation, Cooperative Innovation and Imitation Innovation.Additionally, the contribution of this study lies in that we put forward the best matching pattern of Technology Capability, Innovation Strategy and Innovation Performance.
