Recently,people have taken much more attention on the study of team performance and it's most important factor----leadership. How to promote the team performance has become an urgent problem both in the business community and academia,leadership is one of the most important factor.So,the study of the relationship between leadership and team performance in the Chinese cultural background is very meaningful.Based on other theretical research,the paper sums up the study about leadership behaviour and the team performance,such as the research of task-oriented and relations-oriented leadership behaviour,and task performance and peripheral performance and so on. Then based on the study of team performance,the paper proposes that team performance consists of four aspects:task completed,member's satisfaction,team maintance,member's behaviour.Meanwhile based on leadership theory the paper the paper further analyzes the impact among the task-oriented and relations-behaviour with team performance,then makes the theory model and empirical study.The paper searches and analyzes a large altitude of literature in order to bring up indicators depicting the construction of various factors,and form a questionnaire,through a series of questionnaires retifying,the paper takes a small sample and the large sample survey which provided a guarantee for further evidence.In the aspect of data analysis, this paper uses SPSS 11.0 for the first exploratory factor analysis of small samples to delete the sub-standard indicators and form a preliminary form factor. Based on the analysis, the paper optimized questionnaires and conducted large sample questionnaire survey and analysis. With the help of SPSS, this paper analyzed the reliability of various indicators to enhance the validity of the questionnaire. Then it applied LISREL8.7 to conduct a confirmatory factor analysis of the fitting degrees of various-stairs factors model, indicators of distinction and validity of degrees, conduct a detailed validation and analysis. Based on these analyzes, this paper verified the total model structure. According to the results of the analysis, and further structural analysis conducted in this paper. It proved task-oriented leadership behaviour has significant positive impact on task completing and it has insignificant positive impact on member's satisfaction and team continuance and member's behaviour; relations-oriented leadership behaviour has insignificant positive impact on task completing and it has significant positive impact on member's satisfaction and team continuance and member's behaviourFinally, the results of empirical analysis are discussed and analyzed, then the paper proposes some advices to help managers to promote the team performance. Meanwhile,the paper proposes some scarcity and some expectation of the study . |
