Nowadays Chinese Security company can be divided into two types, which are Brokerage Securities Company and Comprehensive Company, the latter is better than the former in many side, i.e. size, business function, policy assistant etc.The development history of Security Company is reviewed, and the difference between Brokerage Securities Company and Comprehensive Company is pointed out, which can be summarized as follows: lack of production and innovation, weakness of management, simpleness of profit structure, smallness of capital size.The circumstance of Brokerage Securities Company is analized. The development of economic and law system ,the entrance into WTO all giveBrokerage Securities Company a chance. But more and more serious competition , freedom trend of commission acceptance make it difficult for brokerage securities company operation.This paper baseds on the theory of modern enterprises competitiveness, and makes use of factor analysis, analytical hierarchy process(AHP) and contrast analysis, then explains the meaning of security companies' competitiveness, decomposes the securities companies' competitiveness into three parts: environment factor, resource factor, ability factor. After that, comparatively analyzing actual and potential ompetitivenessof the companies. According to the basic principle of AHP, the paper constructs and index system to evaluate securities companies' competitiveness. Finally, the paper proposes some countermeasures to improve exterior competition environment, improve competitiveness of Securities Sales Department, construct Securities Broker System and take innovation of modern corporate structure.The author is trying to carry out the redearch work on the competitive power of the brokerage security company in order to find a scheme for raising its competitive ability, to offer a guarantee for the sustained development of our brokerage security companies, to find an approach to improving the power of the broking business of security companies and to play a positive and promotive role for the healthy development of our capital markets.
