In automobile industry, which is of fierce competition, automobile manufacturing has to face the era with less profit, and more chances will be in the fields of trades and services of automobile. Only 30% of total profits of foreign automobile corporations come from automobile manufacturing, and 70% of the profits come from automobile trades and services. Due to the long time economy of shortage, it is paid attention to automobile manufacturing, rather than to automobile after-market.After China entering WTO, because of the opening of quota, custom, investment management, service, etc, the challenges are more than the chances in automobile manufacturing. But in the opening of automobile market, because of the local advantages, there are many opportunities in the automobile after-market.With automobile manufacturers and trade service providers of the world entering Chinese market, and scrambling for the largest and also the last potential market in the world, a heavy competition in automobile aftermarket will occur. It is a valuable issue to deeply research that how the every part of the industry changes the business concepts and the development mode, and wins initiative in the new cycle of automobile industry competition under the lead of the relative government departments and industry organizations. Although the researches about the industry have been increased in recent years, there are few deep and systemically researches about the automobile aftermarket.The thesis studies the Chain-Store operation and its advantages, thoroughly analyzes the situation of automobile aftermarket in China , accordingly puts forward the management mode of automobile aftermarket services , and analyzes the related theories and application deeply. The purpose of the thesis is to provide some references and guides for Chinese automobile market , to change traditional management concept and mode, and to force the establishment of the modern business concepts fitting to the international business competition mechanism.
