In recent years, the hotel industry in Urumqi has achieved great development, especially the rapid growth of high-star hotels. But as the further development of mass tourism in China, the middle salaried class becomes the main force in domestic tourism. The Municipal Foreign Trade frequently emerged in Urumqi, so a large number of the business travelers have made the new consumer demands of hotels. The emergence of economical hotels can conform the market demand, which have a major role in solving the hotel market supply and demand contradictions of Urumqi, and adjusting the market structure of the hotels presently. The economical hotels in Urumqi are still in their initial stage, but their huge development potential force has become the focus of the Chinese and foreign hotel management groups. Therefore, the starting point and the final destination of this paper is how to better and faster develop the high-quality economical hotels to meet the mass tourism and business needs in the Urumqi City.First, this paper makes a brief statement on the actual state of this field. Then I give the basic theories which I will use them later and the reason on why I choose the title like this. After these, I analyze the present situation of economical hotels from two aspects of the market Situation and Industry environment. Then according my investigating, I analyze the elements which can affect the Consumption behavior in the economical hotels. Analyzes based on above, I found some deficiencies on the Urumqi economical hotels. Finally in view of question I give some development measure of economical hotels in Urumqi.The study on development of the economical hotels in Urumqi in this paper, what I want it can give some impetus function for development of the economical hotels, and I also hope the date and the experience which this paper obtain can give some help for the same question in other areas.
