The Migrant Workers Social Security Research Of Xiangtan

In recent years, the Social Security issues of migrant workers has raised great attention at all levels of government and theoretical field. In March 2006, the State Council promulgated the "Regulations on migrant workers to address a number of issues", which has a clear focus on the Social Security issues of migrant workers. A majority of experts and scholars have done a great deal of research on the migrant workers'social security system, the principle of building the system, and barriers in areas such as countermeasures. The exploration on the practical aspects and the building of migrant workers'social security laws and regulations have also been made some progress. However, a majority of migrant workers are still lack of social security. Against such a background, it undoubtedly has great practical significance and theoretical significance to do in-depth study of migrant workers'social security problems in Xiangtan, and to explore solutions to local migrant workers'social security problems.In this paper, based on in-depth analysis of basic situation of migrant workers in Xiangtan'and their social security present situation, I conducted a systematical analysis and study on the problem of the demand and choice of migrant workers for social security, and the implementation of the system; I also absorbed the achievement from home and abroad on the construction of migrant workers'social security; I put forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on how to build a macro-environment in favor of migrant workers'social security, to establish a sound social security system, consummate the implementation of the migrant workers'social security system. Especially on the aspects of strengthening migrant workers'the social security system in Xiangtan, and according to the principle of adhering to the appropriate level of protection, and hierarchical classification protection. With a view to maximizing the migrant workers into the existing social security system and solving the problems of migrant workers'social security issues effectively, I designed a set of practical and flexible social security system for migrant workers in Xiangtan, and migrant workers can choose them freely.
