With the advent of service economy era, the development level of Service Industry becomes an important sign that measures the socialization degree and development degree of market economy. Since 1970s, Producer Service has been the fastest section in the growth of developed countries' Service Industry, the key point of FDI. Besides, it is taking a more and more significant role. Producer Service is now becoming the engine of the world economic growth. It's the top power of persistent and fast development of modern economy. And its prosperity has become the important symbol of modernization. However, compared with developed countries, our country's Producer Service is lagged behind. Developing Producer Service is the most important mission in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan of government. The rise and fall of the Producer Service lie in its international competitiveness. So, with international competitiveness of Producer Service being the subject investigated, this article will focus on its level and promotion.Firstly, this paper makes summary and comments on domestic and foreign research on Producer Service and Industrial International Competitiveness in Chapter 1. Chapter 2 begins with the introduction of the related conceptions, classification and characters of Producer Service, then briefly expounds the Theory of Agglomeration Economies and Michael Porter's Diamond Frame Work. Based on the status of Chinese Service Industry, Producer Service Industry and related industries, Chapter 3 analyzes and assesses the international competitiveness of Chinese Producer Service through the determinants of international competitiveness and the evaluation index system, points out the bottlenecks of promotion. In Chapter 4, the author looks forward to the trends of World Producer Service using American experience as a resource of reference. In Chapter 5, starting with the determinants of international competitiveness, the author puts forward some advices on the basis of government, inner Producer Service, related and supporting industries and agglomerate regions.
