System Research On Collection Of Geological Data In China

The 21st century is the information age, the influx,custody,service and sharing are important functions of the government. Geological data is an important part of public information and then the collection,management and social service work of geological data seem to be particularly important. In order to improve the social service quality of geological data, it is necessary to promote collection, lay a solid foundation. Only the collection work of geological data develop smoothly can up to the service for society. No geological data, there is no social service.However, various departments undertake different types of geological work in our country, working contents disperse, causes the following characteristics of the geological data: its formation exhibits span-industry nature, it belong to different administrative departments; level-gap is very large; its manifestation is various and do not have a unified paradigm; multi-level of social needs and so on, resulting in great difficulty of collection and progress has been slow.Although governments at all levels conscious to the collection is the most basic work, it is the effective corroboration to demonstrate the achievement of geological work and also an important part of the country's public information service system, however, in the actual collection work they still faces a variety of problems. Then, throughout the process to promote collection, what experiences they accumulated? What are the problems encountered? That requires deeply investigation.Research shows that there is a great distance of geological collection work between China and developed countries and between different provinces and cities. According to"Bulletin on the national management of geological data 2007"issued by Ministry of Land and Resources, the author selected Shanghai, Jiangsu, Shaanxi and Sichuan to investigation the geological data library, deeply understand the concrete process, including the collection achievements,difficulties encountered,the resolutions to the problems and systems made to promote work. Summarize the current collection system and analyze its limitations from two angles, the system itself and the environment. Finally, using international experience for reference, after confirming the guiding ideology and construction principles, the author put forward some improvement measures to the system and the current work.
