Study On Development Strategy For Tianjin RS Info-Tech Co.Ltd.

Software industry is a fundamental and strategic industry for a country while industrial software is the key. Now, most of the industrial software companies are small and the researches of this field are rare. In this case, such a small industrial software company is analyzed and some features of this industry are generalized, which the company's developing strategy and key points of implement are based on. The thesis is significant for the company's development and for other similar companies'reference.In this thesis, three main features of industrial software industry are named and the characteristics of the SMEs'strategical system and process are indicated. Multiple analytical methods such as PEST analysis and SWOT matrix are used to study RS Company's internal and external environment and its resource capabilities and competences. So we know that it is essential for achieving the strategic objective to cultivate the core competencies. And then, it is made clear that which core competence should be cultivated and how by VIRO analysis. At last, highlights of strategy practice are demonstrated. Firstly, the relationship of core products, core technologies and core competence is studied and how to develop the genuine competitive core technology is indicated. Afterward, financial strategy and corporate governance are given.The analysis and conclusion of this thesis are entirely established on the special industry background and unique SMEs'strategy theory other than including all aspects of RS Company's strategy management. Therefore, both the methods and contents of this thesis are innovative and practical.
