Research On Primary Inventory Of Civil Aircraft Spare Parts For Manufacturer

Spare part ensure the airplanes'safety and cost so much capital, so manufacturers and airlines both focus on spare parts support and reasonable stock. The inventory of spare parts deals with location, management, inventory control and purchase.For a new aircraft, the primary inventory is the beginning of the whole spare parts support plan. The items and amount of the inventory are the key point.The study of the paper is a part of ARJ21 Spare Part Research, done by the RMS center of the Civil Aviation College, NUAA and AVIC I Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd. Jointly, which is propitious to manufacturers'spare part support and establishing the primary inventory for the new aircraft.This paper proposes a way of establishing the primary inventory of spare part to aircraft manufacturer and makes a selection of spare part which belongs to the primary inventory. After that, the spare parts are divided into different types and the demand is forecasted according to the calculating models, which are based on maintenance is founded in the paper, according to airplanes'reliability data and the modern maintenance theory. The practical applications of these methods meet the needs of cost control and dispatch.Finally,This paper introduces the function and realization of the requirement forecast software of ARJ21 primary inventory. And in the end of the paper, there is an engineering example to illustrate the methods'practicability.
