Abstract/Summary:
Zhang Jian realized question of land, employment and survival for peasants is the basic one in Chinese society and thus proposed a policy of reducing burden of peasants. His company of cultivation and herd first put his concept into practice by implementing modern agriculture business with Chinese characteristics: company plus peasant household. In this way, Zhang Jian started his view of modern agriculture through the industrial chain link. As for the countryside, Zhang Jiang advocated its development to community and city. His company of cultivation and herd was also such an embryonic form. Undoubtedly, Zhang Jian's concept of " Three dimensional rural problems" had significant impacts on the way of modernization in china since he not only raised the concept but also carried it out with good results.
