Analysis & Developing Strategies On Tangshan Textile Industry Status Quo

Tangshan is an important textile industry base in China, and the textile industry has ever made great contribution in the process of economic development, such as taxation, foreign exchange by exporting, solving employment problem and so on. However, in recent decades, the textile industry has declined because of series of problems, for instance, poor management system and industrial structure, lacking of innovation in new products. All those problems lead to the gap both at home and abroad. The pressure in the development of Tangshan textile industry is enlarging increasingly. The dissertation focuses on studying the existed problems in Tangshan textile industry aiming to offer some strategies in order to accustom to the objective need of economic globalization.The dissertation makes an analysis from the existed problems in the development of Tangshan textile industry and the international and national market; applying different methods, such as model analysis, case study, etc. On the basis of analysis about the factors of Tangshan textile industry development, developing strategies and suggestions are put forward: such as technology innovation, improving the core competitive ability, developing green textile industry and regional economy, adjusting the industrial structure, srtenghening the brand awareness, establishing the textile base of the four coastal counties, accepting the textile transformation from Beijing and Tianjin. Therefore, Tanshan textile industry can develop in a continous, stable and healthy way. And we look forward it will occupy a decisive position in the world textile industry.
