Study On Oil Tanker Companies's Risk Assessment Based On Entropy Coefficient

The operation procedures of oil tanker companies are complex and variable.How to minimize risks in business by proper risk assessment methods means a lot to all of the oil tanker companies.This dissertation briefly introduced the research background on risk,risk management and risk assessment,and the theories which relate to the Risk Assessment Models of oil tanker companies are given also.Based on the characteristics of oil tanker companies,this dissertation referred to lots of literature and classified the operation risk of oil tanker companies into management risk,economic risk,environment risk and security risk.The main works in this dissertation can be introduced as follows:This dissertation presented a quality assessment index system(four first level benchmarks;twelve second level benchmarks) as risk assessment basis for oil tanker companies.During the research on the risk assessment modules,this dissertation chose fuzzy comprehensive evaluation as methodology.At the same time,it ascertained synthesis weight by entropy weight and Delphi to improve the veracity and avoid subjectivity of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.This dissertation designed a MATLAB program to fulfill the model calculation.After applying the model,this dissertation got a satisfied result regarding to the risk assessment of oil tanker companies.It means the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model which based on entropy weight could evaluate exactly the risk rank of an oil tanker company.
