At the present time, because of the globalization of competition in the manufacturing industry and the diversification of customers' demands, more requirements for enterprises have been put forward, such as more product variety, shorter time-to-market, lower product cost and higher quality. Therefore, mass customization (MC) has developed quickly and has gradually become one of mainstream production modes of manufacturing industry in the 21st century. In MC, customized products are produced with the efficiency of mass production. No doubt MC is an ideal mode that the manufacturing industry will pursue far into the future.The thesis takes Mass Customization as its background to study the customer satisfaction and the optimization of customization level based on customized requirement. The contents of this paper are:1. The paper first introduced the background, significance, method of the subject and the main content of this paper. Then the paper sums up some concepts, levels of MC mode form some documents, and gives a brief summary of the domestic and abroad research.2. The paper analyzes the customized requirements, then presents the evaluation system of customer value and the procedure of customer selection. Using Cluster Analysis theory to gather some similar customers' requirements in one sort, then enterprises organize to produce in sorts or groups. These are necessary preparation for the following, which is about the customer satisfaction and the most optimized customization levelo3. The paper puts forward the Satisfaction Function of customers based delivery time, price and relative difference. The function changes a factor in customer satisfaction with the pack into measurable amount.4. The paper analyzes the relation between customization level and enterprise's income and cost. It established some answers to the most optimized customization level according to the maximized-rule of profit.
