Semiconductor Integrated Circuit Industry (abbr. Semiconductor Industry) is the foundation and engine of the whole 4C (consumer electronics, communication, computer & controller) industries. With the fast development and growth of 4C industries, the civil demand of semiconductor products is increasing rapidly. The electronic components industry which mainly stands for semiconductor products is becoming one of the important component parts of national economy.This thesis did analysis & research through the industry character and the requirements from 4C application customers of the semiconductor industry, based on the theory of market competition and with author's years of working experience in the semiconductor industry, it raises a construction analysis model of middle/small size Semiconductor Company to improve their compatibility in the industry. According to 4C customers have more expectations to the semiconductor suppliers like: 'advanced products, on time delivery, short lead time, reasonable pricing, good quality and reliability, and better technical support and service', the construction analysis model that's raised in the thesis, did analysis of the factors on how a middle/small size semiconductor company to improve the compatibility from different aspects like new product development, supply chain organized, brand, cost control, marketing management, human resources, enterprise culture etc.The research considers that innovation is the core of the mid/small size semiconductor company's compatibility. A mid/small semiconductor company must build an innovation leading enterprise culture, respects to all their staff, build good relationship with the benefit interact organizations & individuals, makes human resources efficiency, improve their product development ability, improve the efficiency of the supply chain, strengthen the cost control, build a good brand imagery, and excellent marketing management to improve customer satisfactions and the strong compatibility in the related industry.The author analyzed the success facts of Knowles Electronics, LLC with years of working experience in the company and semiconductor industry. The thesis is to prove the reasonability & efficiency of the middle/small size Hi-Tech company's compatibility model through the case analysis. We hope this research, could be any help & reference to the domestic semiconductor companies, especially the small size companies. Find their own market place with developing their own compatibility factors.
