This paper takes the oil and gas cooperation between China and the Central Asia as the research subject and has a deep study on the importance, necessity and possibility of the oil and gas cooperation between China and the Central Asia in the new oil and gas geopolitical domain. As the biggest developing country and the second energy—consuming country, China is in the process of advancing its industrialization, so the energy issue is becoming more and more serious for its development. At present, the oil import of China excessively relies on Malacca Strait. If China aims to solve the problem of Malacca Strait dilemma, China must have a breakthrough in land and set up an oil aisle in land. The Central Asia owns a large amount of oil and gas together with an unique geographical location, which make it in the center place of the new oil and gas geopolitical domain as well as in the inner side of the outlying energy consuming areas. This kind of situation not only impels the Central Asia to go into the world but also helps China solve its problems in energy transporting. In addition, this paper also has a detail analysis of the advantages and disadvantages when China set up the five energy channels in land and analyses the feasibility. At last, the paper does not neglect to forecast the future oil and gas cooperation between China and the Central Asia.
