This article studies the efficiency of internal labor market in China's stated-owned enterprise through internal labor market theory. Internal labor market theory emphasizes on micro aspects of long-term contract, allocation of labor resource, long-term incentive mechanism. It has vital importance on constructing harmony of enterprise, stabilizing labor relationship, enhancing allocation efficiency of labor resource, strengthening long-term incentive and developing mechanism of human capital.The content includes: first, comprehensive analysis on the basis theory of internal labor market has been done. Evolvement of research theories and methods about internal labor market is summarized. Second, research has been done on internal labor market of enterprise, including the concept, characteristic and function; the evolvement mechanism of internal labor market in human resource management; feature and development actuality of internal labor market in stated-owned enterprise, efficiency analysis of that as well. From the angle of human resource management, the analysis of evolvement mechanism of internal labor market is carried out, also, the empirical research of efficiency above internal labor market in stated-owned enterprise, which is the breakthrough of this part. Third, this essay expounds the idea of efficiency improving of internal labor market in stated-owned enterprise from points of theoretical basis and model constructing respectively. Finally, measurement is brought forward to improve the efficiency of internal labor market in stated-owned enterprise, from the facets of choice between wage and non-pecuniary incentive, employment ways, optimizing of internal promotion.In a word, such phenomena, like long-term employment, internal promotion and compensation postponement exist in stated-owned enterprise in China. However, there is a rigidity relationship between stated-owned enterprise and laborer actually, thus implied contract does not exist really. As a result, distinct function of internal labor market in stated-owned enterprise can hardly work. Therefore, constructing the efficiency improving model of internal labor market in stated-owned enterprise may have guidance significance, for leading enterprise to paying attention to labor resource allocation reasonably inside the enterprise.
