Study On The Development Strategy For The Building Of Commodity Supply Bases Of SXCT (Shanxi Coal Transportation And Sale Group Company)

According to new national regulation on the policy that SXCT (Shanxi Coal Transportation and Sales Group Company) would suspend the work of collecting the Shanxi coal special fund since Jan, 2006 that means SXCT will no longer have administration function. The company will go through a transition from administration and funds collection to production and operation, as the largest company in coal transportation and sale field in China, nowadays, SXCT is in a critical moment. Because of the building of commodity supply bases is a decisive factor to the further development of SXCT, the company must implement new strategy to build larger commodity supply bases so as to enhance it's capacity of production and operation, in that way the company would not rely seriously on the fee collection as before. It's urgent to research the topic of how to complete the building of commodity supply bases, to realize planed goal in a stable way, integrate and develop rapidly in this transforming period, form a large size enterprises group with core competitiveness.The author pays more attention to analysis comprehensively and systematic to the outside environment of commodity supply bases in line with the series of factors such as culture, economic, technology and line competition in the method of combination with theory and practice, with quantitative and qualitative, with investigation and research, tries to find out the chance of how to make the commodity supply bases receiving profits while prevent from the losses in the process of operation. Therefore, the author also concentrates on the analysis deeply and precisely to the inside environment of SXCT in line with the general situation, financial condition, business situation, organization structure and body evaluation, make the advantage and disadvantage of building commodity supply bases clear. Moreover, some senior specialists are invited to adjust and appraise the possible chance and threat, advantage and disadvantage in the crucial both in and out side factors using EFE matrix, IFE matrix, SWOT matrix, put forward the adoptive and alternative strategic plan specializing in the building commodity supply bases. Finally, decides the last strategic plan of building commodity supply bases. The research results of this thesis would be helpful and may have some significant influence on the building of commodity supply bases for group companies.
